read this document to learn how we protect your privacy when you visit
our site. Please direct your questions, comments or concerns in this
matter to the Webmaster.
Privacy Philosophy
At Regulation-S.com, your privacy
matters to us. Our site is designed to give you as much control as possible
over the privacy of your personal information - when we can collect it,
how we can use it and whether we can share it with others.
Your "personal information" is any

business title(s), business phone number(s) and business address(es).

providing interactive
or personalized elements to your visits
- Better prepare future content
based on your interests
Do We Share Your Personal Information With Others?
We do not share your personal information with others under any circumstances.
Anonymous Tracking and Profiling
Regulation-S.com assigns a random number to each site visitor to anonymously
track content preferences and traffic patterns. The random numbers let us
keep track of how many times customers are doing specific things – like
visiting our site each month – without knowing who our customers are.
The random number we assign to you is kept in a file on your computer called
a "cookie". By themselves, cookies cannot be used to determine your
identity. Unless you specifically give us your personal information, Regulation-S.com
will never know who you are. Our standard research practices also include
the use of "referrers" and "environment
variables".
We use tracking information to determine which areas of our site visitors
like and don’t like based on traffic to those areas. Regulation-S.com
does not track what individual visitors read, but, rather, how well each page
performs overall. This helps us to continue to build a better service for
you. We also perform ad-hoc analysis of some/all of the data collected to
determine if the sites (and their products and services) are performing to
expectations and to gauge the value of any new products or services that may
be offered in the future.
Our research database does not store personally identifiable information,
such as name, address, phone number or e-mail address. Nor does it store sensitive
data, like medical or financial information, or any information about sexual
preference, race, religion or ethnicity.
Information Security
Your personal information is kept in a secure system protected by firewalls
and other IT safeguards. It is not accessible through Internet or other web-based
connections.
Only those staff members who need to know your personal information to serve
you are granted access to it.
E-mail Address Privacy
We receive many e-mail communications. We do not sell the names or e-mail
addresses of individuals who communicate with us through e-mail. We also do
not send emails to any of our clients for any reason unless they have specifically
requested we do so. If you ever receive an unsolicited email from a member
site or from Regulation-S.com or persons claiming to be either of the two,
please let us know by sending an email to abuse@regulation-s.com

This site contains links to other sites whose privacy policies may differ
from Regulation-S.com’s privacy statement. Please check the privacy
policies of those sites before proceeding.
Contact Us Form
Our web site uses a Contact Us form for customers to let us know what they
think of our site and our services. We collect contact information (including
e-mail addresses). The contact information is only used to respond to inquiries.
Feedback submissions can also be made anonymously.
Cookies
A "cookie" is an element of data that a web site can send to your
browser, which may then store it on your computer system. It can be used to
provide you with tailored information from the web site you have visited.
Our web site uses cookies in two ways:
- To track your path through the web site. You can set your browser to
notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether
to accept it or not. Unless you purchase a product or service, the Regulation-S.com
web site does not require that you accept cookies. If you’ve set your
browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you’ll receive the warning
message with each cookie.
- When you purchase a product or service.
Referrers and Environmental Variables
A "referrer" is the information passed along by a web browser that
references the Web URL you linked from. It is automatically gathered by our
web server. This information is used by Regulation-S.com to identify broad
demographic trends and may be used to provide information tailored to your
interests.
"Environment variables" we gather include time, type of web browser
being used and the operating system/platform. This information is used only
for acquiring a better understanding of service usage and to plan site maintenance
schedules. |
